Acromegaly is a condition where a human continues to exhibit growth even way past adulthood, and it is a risk for individuals who take HGH (Human Growth Hormone) exceeding their body’s normal levels. The symptoms for acromegaly are many, and if left untreated, can shorten the lifespan of the sufferer and debilitate his life in many ways.

A list of acromegaly symptoms is listed here. As you can see, acromegaly is not something to be taken lightly. But yet, many people continue to abuse HGH intake even though they really don’t need it at that point in time.

HGH is a powerful hormone, and if taken to excess in the form of injections, may lead to the pituitary gland turning abnormally dysfunctional. A safer way to take HGH is in the form of HGH releasers, because releasers only coax the pituitary into releasing growth hormone, rather than add growth hormone into the body by force. HGH releasers prevent growth hormone levels from exceeding what the body can tolerate.

Treatment for acromegaly that is from a diseased pituitary, involves surgery or radiation therapy. Although not 100% successful in all cases, acromegaly sufferers today have far better prospects and outlook compared to say, 40 or 50 years ago. But if you are young and fit, below age 30, you do not need to supplement your HGH levels, or else you could end up being a victim of acromegaly….
